Prem Rawat Sets Another New Guinness World Record:  375,603 People Attend One of His Lectures in India

On November 26, 2023, in Gaya, India, 375,603 students, dignitaries, intellectuals, media representatives, and peace-seeking individuals gathered to listen to Prem Rawat speak about “Understanding the Value of Life: Know Thyself.” The incredible event established a new Guinness World Record for “The largest attendance at a lecture.” 

The location for Mr. Rawat’s record-setting event was just ten miles from the place where Buddha, in 589 BCE, attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.

In keeping with the stringent criteria that accompany setting Guinness World Records, adjudicators Mr. Swapnil Dangarikar and Mr. Pravin Patel attended the event and immediately following Prem Rawat’s presentation officially acknowledged his record-setting performance.

This is the second Guinness World Record that Prem Rawat has established. On April 2, 2023 in Lucknow, India, he set the world record for the largest audience ever to attend a book reading by a single author. At that gathering, 114,707 people listened to him read from his bestselling book, “Hear Your Self: How to Find Peace in a Noisy World” a book that has now been translated into 11 different languages.

What attracts so many people to Prem Rawat’s events? His extraordinary ability to connect with his audiences and inspire them to more deeply consider their potential to experience peace within themselves and the possibility of living a life of hope, fulfillment and gratitude.
