Prem Rawat created The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) in 2003 to help fulfill his inspired vision of addressing fundamental human needs, helping people everywhere live with dignity, peace and prosperity. His purpose? To do everything in his power to help human beings thrive, regardless of the obstacles in their lives.
Through his ongoing efforts and the generous support of thousands of people around the world, TPRF continues having an extraordinary impact on the wellbeing of millions of people:
- Over 6.6 million meals served through the Food for People program
- Over 180 grants given to partner organizations in 47 countries, providing $6.4 million in humanitarian aid and disaster relief
- More than 500,000 people from 87 countries have participated in the Peace Education Program. Results have been transformative.
As a very tumultuous 2024 comes to an end, Prem Rawat’s non-profit foundation is launching an exciting new opportunity for you and other humanitarians to help make his vision a reality.
The name of this end-of-year fundraising initiative? “Brightening Lives Appeal.” Its goal? To raise $200,000 by December 31 to help keep TPRF’s life-changing initiatives going strong into the new year.
So much of Prem Rawat and his foundation’s
work is about brightening lives.
From hunger to health and from anguish
to aspiration, your support for this vital work shines a light for people across the globe,
illuminating new paths forward with hope and inner strength. Thank you!
Daya Rawat, President, TPRF
To help potential donors better understand how their timely support can make a difference in the lives of people everywhere, TPRF is releasing a series of new videos before the end of the year.
Watch all of the new videos here
Here is one that features Prem Rawat’s meeting with bereaved families, community activists, and at-risk youth in London to help address problems with knife crime and other violence.
And here is another, celebrating the inauguration of a new Food for People (FFP) kitchen in the Cape Flats area of South Africa – a low-lying area on the outskirts of Cape Town marked by poverty and violence stemming from South Africa’s history of apartheid.
The Cape Flats launch is the most recent extension of a humanitarian initiative that has already provided 6.6 million nutritious meals, clean water and educational opportunities to disadvantaged children and the elderly in India, Nepal and Ghana. Results have included improved health, higher school attendance and achievement, lower crime, new career opportunities and economic growth.
It’s amazing the difference this can make.
We want to offer the community clarity for the mind, gratitude for the heart, peace for the being, and food for the stomach.
This is what The Prem Rawat Foundation is all about. We are doing projects that actually make a difference.”

Your donations during TPRF’s December “Brightening Lives Appeal” will be instrumental in helping the Cape Flats Food for People program live up to its full potential in some very practical ways.
More specifically, it will enable the renovation of the FFP kitchen, greatly increasing the efficiency, capacity, preparation, delivery and quality of food served to thousands of disadvantaged children.
Thank you, in advance, for whatever support you can provide to The Prem Rawat Foundation in December and beyond!
Throughout the year, we will continue to provide you with updates, progress reports, and success stories.
Donating to TPRF and the Brightening Lives Appeal is just one of many ways you can show your support for Prem Rawat’s work.
