I started speaking about peace when I was four years old. I have been traveling the world and trying to communicate about peace for forty-nine years. I have come across people from all walks of life. And what is always surprising is all the ideas that people have about peace.

Just the day before yesterday, I was addressing some people, and I said to them, “For peace, you don’t have to do anything. To make wars, you have to do things! To make peace, you don’t have to do anything because peace resides in the heart of every human being. Peace is already there! It has to be explored. It has to be nurtured, and it has to be understood.”
